Hey, I’m Andrea!

Thank you so much for being here! I can’t wait to share my space with you!

If I’m being completely honest, this didn’t start as some “calling” I recognized right away. It started as me trying to feel better and slowly learning there was a whole world of other healing modalities that I knew nothing about.

For 25 years, I worked in a demanding corporate healthcare career filled with deadlines, responsibility, and constant pressure creating so much anxiety and depression. Along the way, I also experienced life-altering personal challenges and trauma that left me simply trying to keep everything together. I was living in survival mode for years! Somewhere along the way, I forgot what it felt like to truly relax and be present. I tried the traditional routes for years (many prescription meds and therapists), but eventually I started looking for something different. That search led me to reiki, energy work, meditation, and eventually sound healing. All of these various modalities were very helpful, but sound changed everything for me. The first time I truly experienced the vibration of crystal singing bowls, my mind became quiet and my body relaxed in a way I didn’t know was ever possible. My nervous system was finally able to reset! The more I worked with sound, the more grounded, present, and connected to myself I became. I could feel the shift from the inside out!

I also knew music had an impact on me when I was very young. I was a first chair violinist, in middle school. So, when I began playing the crystal bowls, it felt like coming home to a part of myself that had been missing for a very long time.

Eventually, I found the courage to leave my demanding, 25-year corporate career to follow what had been quietly calling me. SHINE Zen Studio was born from this journey. I have created this space similar to what I’ve always had and think more people need. A warm, welcoming safe place where you can step away from the noise of life, let your body soften, quiet your mind, and simply be. You just simply come as you are!

My hope is that you enjoy this magical and intentional space and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself. Of course, with a little more of your own light shining through!
